1lb turnips (as is for salad turnips, peeled for storage type)
3T maple syrup
2t chopped fresh sage
salt & pepper to taste
Cut turnips in half and into 1/2-inch wedges.
Combine remaining ingredients in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add turnips, turning to coat; bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer ~5 minutes or until tender (15 mins for storage turnips)
Uncover and cook over med-high heat 5+ minutes or until turnips are glazed.
