Welcome to the cyber-home of Fertile Ground CSA. We’re only 2 acres big, but we grow a lot of vegetables. If fresh, local & organic food gets you excited we’d probably get along. We LOVE seeing people get excited about their food.
Our veggies are distributed direct to our members & customers within 2 days of harvest because fresh really is best. We sell all of our produce locally because we believe in the economic & political sustainability of local food systems. We grow organically because we believe that is the best way to nourish ourselves, our customers & the earth, for years to come.
The name Fertile Ground represents not only the soil that feeds the vegetables we grow, but all that feeds our dreams and passions. We’ve found that working in the ground keeps us rooted in hope and cultivates our wonder.
Our farm is located just west of Waterloo, Ontario. You can find our produce July-October at the Kitchener Farmers Market or pick up your share of the season’s best every week when you join our CSA.
